The AtlantaHikes.com Hiking Club is an informal group of people hiking together in the Atlanta area. The Club has no legal status, structure, officers, or assets. One of the group members serves on a volunteer basis as hike planner and guide. The volunteer planner/guide acts on behalf of the group to set standards of physical preparedness and suitable trail conduct for participation in the hikes. Therefore, in consideration of being permitted to participate in hikes with the AtlantaHikes.com Hiking Club, I WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or might have in the future against and RELEASE FROM ALL LIABILITY AND AGREE NOT TO SUE the AtlantaHikes.com Hiking Club, its guide, or members for any loss, damages, expenses, or personal injury (including death) that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer as a result of my participation with the AtlantaHikes.com Hiking Club due to any cause whatsoever (including transportation to and from trailheads). I am aware that forest and mountain hiking have potential  dangers and risks, including but not limited to, sunburn, dehydration, changing weather conditions, steep terrain, spiny plants, venomous creatures, and wild animals.
