Hike trail to Rabun Bald, the second-tallest mountain summit in Georgia, to catch stunning panoramic views from the mountain’s summit. This is a steep 1.5 mile up and 1.5 mile hike down with elevation gain of 1000 feet.

After the hike at Rabun Bald, we will visit Black Rock Mountain State Park is Georgia’s highest state park that encompasses some of the most outstanding scenery  in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Roadside overlooks provide spectacular 80-mile vistas. Visitors can enjoy the summit visitor center for its views at an altitude of 3,640 feet. We will do a short hike here around a lake.

Things to bring:
– 1.5 liters of water
– Good hiking shoes or boots
– Layered clothing
– Hat and maybe gloves
– Lunch or snack.
– Camera (optional)
