The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area spans hundreds of scenic acres just east of Atlanta. Arabia is a serene world of exposed granite punctuated by lakes, wetlands, grassy meadows, and young forest
Trails such as Mountain Top Trail, Mile Rock Trail, Forest Trail, Klondike Boardwalk will constitute our 5 to 6 mile hike at the Arabia Heritage Area. Climb to 360-degree views and wide-open skies, visit a small, glassy lake that offers reflections of leaves on the lake’s opposite shore, explore a shady forest, open rock expanses, and a grassy meadow are some of the features of these trails.
Arabia Mnt is one of three monadnocks in the Atlanta area. Some of our trails are marked by cairns. What are monadnocks? What are cairns? Join us on the hike and find out!
