This event is only for people who have hiked with us before. No children under 18.
Location: Oconee State Park, SC
Dates: Depart at 5:30 pm on Friday October 18. Arrive back in Atlanta on Sunday at about 7:00 pm
Meeting at: Intown Community Church
Sign up cut off date: October 11 at 5:00 pm
Maximum group size: 15
Food provided for Friday Evening, All day Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Cost: $90 per person. This includes gas costs for driving, food and camping fees.
Camping gear:
Sleeping Bag – can be rented for additional costs from REI
Sleeping Mat – can be rented for additional costs from REI
Pillow
Water bottles
Utensils and plates will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you want to.
Hiking clothes, sandals (flip flops), hat, wind/rain jacket, sunglasses.
Toiletries – Showers and restroom facilities are available at the campsite.
Flashlight and camera (bring extra batteries)
We will do a hike in the 7-10 mile range on the Foothills trail on Saturday. On Sunday we will hike Table Rock Trail which is about 7.5 miles. Both these hikes will be in the D3-D4 range.
